Saturdays Sample (dinner n drinks)

DRINK- 1oz. Gin(or vodka), Splash of Cranberry, Splash of Orange Juice,                                              Splash of Papaya Juice


Perfect Spicy Turkey Burger


1 3/4 pound(s) Turkey, ground, 93% lean/7% fat, raw

3serving(s) Lean Hot Italian Turkey Sausage Links, remove casing

1/3 large raw onion

1/4 cup(s) almonds slices

1 cup frozen spinach

1 sweet red pepper

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp mixed cracked pepper or to taste

2 tsp dried basil

2 tsp dried oregano

1 Tbsp ground cumin

1 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup(s) crumbled feta cheese

Cooking Instructions:

Mix onion, peppers, almonds, and spinach in food processor until chopped.  Texture will depend on your preference.

In a large bowl combine meats and other ingredients – you can use a spoon but fingers work best.

Add cracker and cayenne pepper, cumin, basil, and oregano.

Just before you form patties add feta so it still remains in some nice chunks

Then form into your preferred sized patties.  Recipe will make at least ten healthy sized patties.

Grill, pan fry or place in the oven should no take more than 20 minutes. If you pan fry or bake be sure to spray pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.  If you don’t want to make them all these patties will freeze well.

Serve: Serve with your favorite condiments and a bun or to cut calories wrap in ice burger lettuce! Burger is great with sweet potato fries or grilled veggies.
